SEN Teaching Assistant

Tradewind are working with a Primary School in Leigh who are looking for a Teaching Assistant to join their team full-time within their year 4 class, which has several SEN children.

The role is a long-term temporary role starting in September and will run until December 2026, with the potential to be extended.

The school are looking for someone who has previous experience of working with children with Challenging behaviour or have worked extensively with learners with complex needs including ADHD and Autism.

Requirements

• Level 2 Teaching Assistant or equivalent
• Experience working with complex needs
• Excellent communication and behaviour management techniques
