Role

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work across KS1, supporting pupils within both Year 1 and Year 2. You will provide targeted support for children with additional needs, particularly pupils with ASD and ADHD, helping them access learning and engage positively within the classroom environment.

• Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils throughout the school day.
• Assist pupils with emotional regulation, communication, concentration, and social interaction.
• Support phonics sessions, helping children develop early reading, literacy, and communication skills through engaging and structured activities.
• Work closely with class teachers, the SENCO, and support staff to ensure pupils receive consistent and tailored support.
