A fantastic specialist school in Trowbridge is seeking a Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as next week. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will support primary and secondary-age pupils with additional needs, including Autism, ADHD, communication needs, learning disabilities, behaviour challenges and physical disabilities. This is an exciting role where no two days are the same.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Encourage positive relationships and interactions between students.
• Offer 1:1 and small-group support, adapting your approach to meet individual needs.
• Use de-escalation techniques and restorative practices to support emotional regulation and behaviour management.
