SEN Teaching Assistant (TA)

About the Role

We are looking for a positive and dedicated Teaching Assistant to work with students with Autism and associated needs. Full training will be provided. This role is full-time, permanent, term-time only, 8:30-4:30, KS2-4, ages 9-16.

Responsibilities

• Provide teaching assistance as defined by the teacher's weekly, daily or seasonal planning.
• Work 1:1 with students.
• Provide group and/or individual activities planned by the teacher.
• Work independently with learners to develop work.
• Support the general well-being of learners within the school's structure.
• Monitor and evaluate students' learning under the guidance of the teacher.
• Assist teachers in using relevant management strategies to ensure a purposeful environment for teaching and learning.
• Support all learners in their planned structured work in all curriculum areas.
