Salary: Scale 4 point 7 £18,463.36 pro rata actual salary. Hours: 30.25. Working Pattern: Term Time Only. Contract type: permanent.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

• Child-centered in their approach
• Sensitive and patient in dealing with children who have significant special needs and may present challenging behaviours
• Knowledgeable about or interested in working with children who have autism or profound and complex learning and physical difficulties, including complex health needs
• Flexible, versatile, positive, calm and enthusiastic
• Committed to their own training and development
• Based in a class with approximately 8 pupils
• Ability to undergo enhanced DBS check (required)
