Job Description
SEN Teaching Assistant required to support pupils within a SEN school. This Teaching Assistant role is full-time ideally but part time hours will be considered.
The ideal candidate for the Teaching Assistant position will have previous experience working with children with Severe Learning Difficulties.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support pupils with Autism and other SEN to access the curriculum and engage in learning
* Assist in managing challenging behaviours using appropriate strategies and interventions implemeting management plans
* Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to deliver personalised learning support
* Assist pupils’ communication needs using tools such as PECs or other visual aids.
* Support pupils’ social, emotional, and developmental needs in line with individual education plans (IEPs)
