SEN Teaching Assistant

Key Responsibilities:

• Support & Adaptation: Work alongside the class teacher to support the planning and delivery of engaging activities that meet the individual needs of pupils with SEN.
• Classroom Support: Help maintain a positive, structured learning environment by using effective behaviour management strategies and providing consistent, calm support.
• Individualised Assistance: Provide 1:1 or small-group support to help pupils access learning, develop skills, and build confidence.
• Monitoring & Feedback: Observe student progress and provide feedback to the class teacher and SENCo to help inform next steps and tailored interventions.
• Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, support staff, and school leadership to ensure a cohesive approach to supporting pupils with additional needs.
