The Role

In this role, you will be the class teacher for a group of 8 pupils with Special Educational Needs. The class is mixed-age, with learners working significantly below age-related expectations, and learning is delivered through a highly personalised, ability-based approach.

You will be responsible for planning and delivering a play-based curriculum rooted in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), ensuring that learning is meaningful, accessible, and engaging. Teaching is carefully tailored to each pupil through individualised planning, with PLIMs ensuring that EHCP targets are consistently embedded across all areas of learning.
