SEN Teacher

Overview

TLTP are looking for an SEN Teacher to join a secondary SEN school from September 2026. The school is based in Thurrock, Essex.

The school is a special school catering for children and young people with a wide range of complex needs, including PMLD, SLD and medical needs. Teachers will need a diverse skill set to meet educational and wellbeing needs. Class groups are made up of 6‑8 pupils and supported by at least three LSAs, sometimes more depending on group needs.

Responsibilities

• Implement school policies and schemes of work according to the individual needs of students, with high expectations and challenging targets.
• Implement the curriculum in accordance with the school's philosophy and policies.
• Organise personalised learning activities and experiences differentiated to meet the individual needs and levels of achievement of each pupil.
