SEN Secondary Teacher (Thornycroft School - Oldham)

We are looking for SEN Teachers of Secondary aged children to join our new school in the Oldham (OL8) area. You will be working with children aged 5-19 in a specialist SEN environment.

Responsibilities

• Work with children aged 5-19 in a specialist SEN environment.
• Deliver high‑quality education.
• Provide a holistic, bespoke curriculum that enables students to develop functional life skills.

Qualifications

• QTS or QTLS qualification.
• Proven teaching and learning experience.
• Up‑to‑date safeguarding and child protection qualifications/knowledge and experience.
• Outstanding classroom practitioner.
• Energy, passion, and drive to raise standards.
• Initiative, vision, excellent planning, and organisational skills.
• Experience working with students with SEMH and additional needs.
