Semi Skilled Fitter

Overview

Our client has a requirement for Semi Skilled Fitters for a shutdown on a power station in Selby. Immediate starts are available for 5 weeks initially. Further work may follow till Sept.

Responsibilities

• Duties will include assisting with mechanical maintenance and replacement of mechanical components across the site including precipitators, electrode wires, hoppers, etc.

Qualifications and Requirements

• CCNSG card
• Experience of using hand tools and power tools
• Flexible approach and adaptable to changing conditions
• Strong team player with the ability to work independently and on own initiative
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Positive attitude to safety
• Tolerant of diverse working situations and conditions
