Position: SEMH Teaching Assistant Location: Worcester?Park, Surrey Type: Full-time (Mon-Fri) – 8:00?am?–?3:30?pm Salary: Paid to Scale Role Overview We are seeking a dedicated SEM?(Spiritual, Emotional & Mental) Health Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional emotional and behavioural needs. Working alongside class teachers and senior staff, you will help create a safe, inclusive learning environment that promotes wellbeing and academic progress. Key Responsibilities • Provide one-to-one and small-group support to students with SEMH challenges. • Implement and monitor individual behaviour and coping strategies outlined in each pupil’s plan. • Assist teachers in delivering differentiated lessons and adapting resources. • Record observations and contribute to progress reports and review meetings. • Foster positive relationships with pupils, families and external agencies. • Participate in staff training, safeguarding duties and pastoral activities.
