Axcis Education is seeking a resilient and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Bedminster, Bristol for the full academic year starting in September. About the Role
As a SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will:
• Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEMH and behavioural needs
• Use behaviour management and de-escalation strategies to support emotional regulation
• Work closely with class teachers and the SEN team to maintain a structured and nurturing environment
• Encourage pupils to engage positively with learning and develop healthy relationships
• Promote independence, resilience and self-confidence
