Location: Newcastle
Position: SEMH Specialist Tutor
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Dependent on individual student needs
Hours: Part-time (10-15 hours per week)
Session Length: Minimum 1 hour, maximum 3 hours per session
Pay Rate: £25-£30 per hour

About the Opportunity

Prospero Teaching is seeking an experienced SEN and SEMH Tutor to deliver bespoke 1:1 education packages to young people with complex Special Educational Needs (SEN) who are currently not attending school.

Students present with a range of complex SEND needs, including:
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
Non-verbal communication needs
Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)
Global learning delay
Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH)
