About JR PAT Testing

JR PAT Testing is growing rapidly across the UK. We are looking for experienced PAT Engineers who are self‑employed and have their own equipment and insurance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct portable appliance testing (PAT) in a range of locations such as hospitals, retail outlets and offices.
• Use calibrated testing instruments to assess safety of appliances.
• Provide clients with test results, reports, certificates and advice on repair or replacement.
• Maintain accurate records in paper or electronic systems.
• Manage transport of equipment and ensure tools are in good working order.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds 2377 PAT qualification or equivalent.
• Experience with testing equipment and regulatory requirements.
• Reliable, honest and equipped with a ‘can‑do’ attitude.
