Security Systems Engineer

Description
Our client is seeking a Security Systems Engineer to support enterprise-wide data security initiatives across both on-premises and cloud environments. This role will focus on protecting structured and unstructured data through the implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of data protection technologies, while contributing to ongoing security projects and platform upgrades.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the protection and monitoring of structured and unstructured data across the organization
Assist in the administration and enhancement of Data Loss Prevention (DLP), database monitoring, and data scanning solutions
Participate in security tool upgrades, implementations, and ongoing projects
Perform data discovery and classification activities across on-prem, AWS, and Azure environments
Work with tools such as Symantec/Broadcom DLP, Imperva, and Microsoft Purview
