They monitor surveillance equipment, inspect buildings and access points, and authorize entry of individuals to ensure a secure environment. Additionally, security officers respond to alarms, investigate disturbances, and provide assistance during emergencies. They also write detailed reports on their observations and activities to maintain accurate records.
