**Position Purpose**

+ The Security Officer is responsible for the security of hospital employees, patients/families, visitors, and property. Is responsible for fire prevention and initial response measures.

**As a Security Officer you will:**

+ Maintains safety practices in the area of his/her assignment.
+ Has oversight of the SOC (Security Operations Center)
+ Conducts the Duties and responsibilities associated with the Metal Detector.

**Minimum Qualifications:**

+ High school graduate or equivalent required
+ Previous hospital-based security position preferred
+ Valid Driver's License in good standing required
