**About the Role**

The Security Monitor (SM) plays a critical role in maintaining the security posture of restricted and controlled areas, ensuring the safety of personnel and infrastructure. Reporting to the Security Monitor Supervisor, the SM provides line-of-sight monitoring of uncleared personnel and ensures compliance with site security protocols.

**Key Responsibilities**

+ Monitor uncleared personnel to prevent unauthorized access or removal of sensitive materials.
+ Enforce site regulations and communicate security procedures professionally.
+ Operate handheld radio systems for effective communication.
+ Respond to emergency events and maintain control of personnel.
+ Complete incident and infraction reports accurately.
+ Support other operational areas (e.g., custodial, food services, trades) as needed.
+ Promote and maintain health and safety compliance.
