Requirement

• 1–2 years of experience in the police or military police
• Security vocational training or 5 years of experience in industrial security is acceptable
• Basic computer skills are required
• Training in self-defense and physical restraint is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Good spoken and written English skills
• Experience using X-ray machines and walk-through metal detectors is a plus

Job description:

• Check all guest and crew carry-on items using the gangway X-ray machine
• Watch guests and crew pass through the metal detector
• Make sure ship rules for crew are followed and report any problems
• Help keep the gangway area and equipment clean, safe, and in good condition
• Help with guest and crew boarding and leaving the ship
• Assist with pilot embarkation and debarkation at ports
• Stand watch at the gangway in all ports
