Security Guard - Cruise Ship

Responsibilities:
- Control access points to the ship and screen guests, crew, and their luggage.
- Operate at the gangway while in port and at tender docking stations when at anchor.
- Monitor security on board 24/7, alternating between day and night shifts.
- Maintain and present activity logs to the Chief/Deputy Security Officer after night shifts.
- Conduct regular security patrols in public, crew, and restricted areas.
- Perform routine crew cabin inspections and enforce security regulations.
- Be trained in fire prevention and basic firefighting, assessing and responding to fire incidents until the fire team arrives.
- Know the location and proper use of all safety and security equipment on board.
- Prevent or report any misuse of ship property or violations of regulations.
- Conduct random and scheduled crew cabin checks, alcohol, and drug tests as instructed by the Chief Security Officer.
