Purpose

A World VisionSecurity andSafetyOfficer's role involves implementing security policies, managing access control, supervising security personnel, and ensuring compliance withCoreSecurityRequirements.Key duties include conducting risk assessments,capacity building of office and field staff,overseeing emergency equipmentfunctionalityand staffor assettracking systems, responding to incidents, and liaising with external security actors likestate security agencies,local authorities and NGOs to promote staff safety, asset and programme securityand humanitarian access.He or she is to support the Country Security and Safety Manager in ensuring that effective security measures for the National Office programmes are both appropriately planned for andexcellently executedwithin the national contextand WVI standards and policies.The officer is to support in the optimization of organizational security and the mitigation of operational risks for ministry...
