An employer in the Hampton, VA area is seeking a Secret Operations Research Systems Analyst (ORSA) for a contract to hire opportunity. This individual will be responsible for developing analytical frameworks to assess mission needs, operational challenges, and capability gaps, while applying operations research and applied mathematics techniques to support data-driven decision-making and prioritization efforts. The role will involve designing and executing basic simulations, such as Monte Carlo or R-based analyses, to evaluate different scenarios, as well as building mathematical models and algorithms to support mission planning and resource allocation.
