Secret Lead Mechanical Designer

Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a qualified Lead Mechanical Designer III in support of a large federal client in Virginia Beach, VA. This candidate will lead the design and development of electromechanical systems supporting naval platforms. Their day to day will include managing engineering design efforts, creating technical data packages, supporting testing and integration, and ensuring system performance meets mission standards. A qualified candidate will have hands-on design experience, CAD expertise, and the ability to lead engineering efforts from concept through deployment.

• Designing and developing electromechanical systems and mechanical components for naval applications
• Reviewing and refining Bills of Materials (BOMs) to ensure accuracy, cost-efficiency, and manufacturability
