Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Secret Installer Journeyman based in Dahlgren, Virginia. The Installer Journeyman is responsible for supporting the installation, testing, and maintenance of structured cabling and telecommunications infrastructure. This role requires an active Secret Clearance (or an interim Secret clearance) along with either a high school diploma or 2 years of related experience. The Installer Journeyman performs fiber optic fusion splicing and cable terminations using Corning UniCam Fiber Optic Connectors and 3M Hot Melt, assists with the buildout of telecommunications rooms in compliance with established specifications, and installs, tests, and labels wall‑mounted and surface‑mounted networking outlets supporting both copper and fiber media.
