Secondary Occasional Teacher

Position Summary

The DSBN is seeking qualified, and soon‑to‑be qualified, Secondary Occasional Teacher candidates who provide evidence of meaningful experiences working with children and/or youth. These experiences may include paid, volunteer, and practicum experience. Occasional Teachers work in a variety of schools throughout the Niagara region, gaining valuable teaching experience and supporting the needs of students across the system. Occasional Teachers are eligible to work daily assignments, apply to long‑term assignments or contract positions with the DSBN.
