Become a Fire Detection Pilot with MAG Aerospace Canada based in Dryden, Ontario. This full-time, seasonal role engages you in crucial wildfire surveillance during the 2026 fire season.
As a key player in our Fire and Survey contracts, you will function as Pilot-In-Command of the Cessna 208 while conducting vital aerial patrols to detect signs of wildfires across Northern Ontario. Your extensive piloting experience will directly contribute to the success of wildfire management operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct VFR firefighting patrols by air
• Operate the Cessna 208 and Cessna 337 safely
• Monitor for potential wildfire threats
• Engage in cooperative fire suppression strategies
• Uphold safety standards in aviation operations
Requirements:
• Transport Canada Commercial Pilot License
• Valid Group 1 Instrument Rating preferred
• 1,000 hours total flying experience
• 500 hours as Pilot-in-Command
• At least 100 hours in turbine aircraft i...
