Seasonal Orchard Assistant in New Zealand

A family owned and operated business is currently hiring Seasonal Orchard Assistant in their Suncrest Orchard New Zealand. As Orchard Assistant, you will work with a dedicated staff that plays important role in smooth cherry harvest. Cherry picking is only one aspect of this position, you will also be responsible for various other tasks such as weighing cherry buckets, preparing orchard blocks for harvest, and monitoring fruit quality. This role suits those who are ready to work hard and can work independently. Starting in early December and ending in late January or early February this position provides fixed-term contract with at least 32 hours per week.
