Join Hempel's R&D team in the brand laboratory located in Polinyà, Spain (Barcelona).

Responsibilities

• Support Senior Scientists in innovation, product development and/or product maintenance for protective coatings and improve, or generate new products and processes.
• Plan, design, conduct and report fundamental research.
• Prepare experimental paints and test specimens.
• Evaluate current and experimental coating systems according to agreed methods, standards and customer specifications.
• Keep accurate, complete and produce quality reports of your activity.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the highest business impact of the projects.

Qualifications

• University degree in technical studies (Engineering) or Chemistry would be valuable.
• Good chemical background.
• Good project management skills.
