Veritas Education are supporting a well-regarded mixed secondary school in the Billingham area to appoint a Science Teacher from September on a full‑time, long‑term maternity cover.

Mixed secondary, 11‑16. Full‑time, long‑term maternity cover.

Start date: September.

Salary: £165–£250 per day (PAYE).

Location: Billingham area.

The school is ideally looking for a confident and experienced practitioner who can hit the ground running, manage behaviour effectively, and inspire students of all abilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Science lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
• Plan, prepare and assess in line with curriculum expectations.
• Contribute positively to a collaborative department.

Ideal Candidate

• Qualified Science Teacher (QTS or equivalent).
