Position Title: School Safety Specialist



Reports to: Chief/Deputy Chief of Safety Services and/or School Leader



General Description:

Under the direction of the Chief/Deputy Chief of Safety Services, designee or School Administrator, the Safety Specialists will collaborate with school administrators, designated safety team, and staff to provide a safe and welcoming environment for the school community. The School Safety Specialists will serve as a pro-active link between students and other school support staff. School Safety Specialists will work in Boston's middle and high schools. They will be a visible presence in the school hallways during transition periods, student arrival and dismissal times.
