School Mental Health Assistant
We are seeking a School Mental Health Assistant to join a specialist SEND school in Flitwick from September. The school is keen to welcome graduates in Psychology, Criminology, Health and Social Care, or related fields, particularly those considering careers in Educational Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Counselling, or wider mental health professions.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands‑on experience supporting children and young people with a range of additional needs in a nurturing and specialist educational environment. Pupils present with a variety of needs, including Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, autism, and behavioural challenges. As such, the school is looking for resilient, compassionate, and committed individuals who can provide the consistency and stability their learners rely on throughout the academic year.
