Scheduler (Healthcare) – Denton, TX (Onsite)
We are seeking an experienced Scheduler to join a fast-paced healthcare team in Denton, TX. This is a patient-facing position responsible for coordinating appointments, managing schedules, and ensuring a seamless experience for patients and providers.
Key Responsibilities

+ Schedule new and returning patients, including referrals, in accordance with physician and clinic guidelines

+ Coordinate multiple appointments per patient (e.g., lab, office visits, infusion, procedures)

+ Handle high-volume scheduling (up to ~100 patients per day)

+ Answer inbound calls (~20 daily), assess needs, and route appropriately

+ Manage cancellations/reschedules and communicate provider schedule changes

+ Maintain accurate patient records in EMR systems, including documentation and coding for new patients

+ Obtain and enter insurance information and authorizations
