Overview
Scenic Metalwork Apprentice – a fixed‑term apprenticeship lasting two years, starting September 2026.
The role is based at High House Production Workshop, Purfleet Essex, 42.5 hours per week.
Salary: £28,089.10 per annum for 42.5 hours per week.
The apprenticeship is under the Level 2 Engineering Operative Apprenticeship Standard, with study provided by South Essex College.
Apprentices will work at the Royal Opera House and gain practical skills in metalworking for stage sets.
Responsibilities
Develop specialist metalworking skills.
Work with tools, engineering, and craftsmanship to construct stage sets from scratch.
Attend training and study sessions alongside the College Training Provider.
