Scale Operator

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Scale Operator to support daily shipping, receiving, and front-desk activities for a busy service operation in Chesapeake, Virginia. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who can accurately document truck movements, coordinate with drivers and internal teams, and keep material flow organized throughout the shift. The role also involves inventory tracking, shipment preparation, and clear communication with vendors and site personnel to help maintain efficient operations.

Responsibilities:
• Accurately weigh inbound and outbound company and third-party trucks carrying recyclable materials, then enter load details and weight information into required records.
