Description


SCADA & Automation Designers design, program, and integrate SCADA systems for utility, industrial, and renewable clients. As a SCADA & Automation Designer in our Grid business unit you will:

+ Develop communication block diagrams, panel layout and bill of material drawings, SCADA AC and DC schematics, fiber detail drawings, and network drawings.

+ Point lists for data transferred between RTUs, IEDs, and other SCADA systems.

+ Develop communication settings for relays and IEDs

+ Develop SCADA system and Network documentation for projects.

+ Design Human Machine Interface (HMI) screens.

+ Support development of automation tools to improve project effeciency (python, etc.)

+ Interpreting and incorporating vendor information into design deliverables.

+ Providing review and design input for protection and control drawings to support SCADA system requirements.
