Job Title: Saw Operator

Location: Walsall

Pay Rates: £12.71 - £15.00 per hour dependent on shift

Morning Shift: Monday - Friday 06:00 - 14:00
Night Shift: Sunday - Thursday 08:00 - 04:00 (will need to do 4 weeks training on days)

Are you an experienced saw operator? We have two shifts available – days or nights for the right person.

You’ll be part of a close‑knit production team, cutting and preparing steel with precision. Every day’s different – you’ll be hands‑on, proactive, and take pride in keeping the place running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Operating band and plate saws to cut steel to the correct size
• Changing saw blades and maintaining your equipment
• Reading measuring equipment
• Working safely with Overhead Cranes and FLTs
• Keeping your area clean, organised, and safe
