GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: The Saw Operator sets up, operates, and programs the Casen Saw, as well as the Plasma Table. This position is responsible for safe transfer of steel plates to and from delivery, storage, and work areas. The Saw Operator cuts steel parts in support of production requirements. This position adheres to all safety guidelines. The Saw Operator works under the direction of the Production Supervisor and other manufacturing leaders.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Set up, operate, and program the Cosen Saw and Plasma Table.

• Move material into work area, load and unload machines using forklift.

• Identify material, measure and check for thickness and size accuracy.

• Use of plasma cutter and hand torch to refine parts and preparation for scrap disposal.
