Saw Operator

You will work internally with other staff and supervisors to complete production goals on a daily and weekly basis.

Your ability to complete projects within specifications and maintaining quality work is valued with this employer. 1.

See the lead saw operator for daily work orders 2.

Review W.O. and Router if applicable to ensure that all information is present.

This includes a purchase order number, and Ship to address, Grade of Steel, correct dimensions, “ship by” date.

If any information is missing, see the Inside Sales staff. 3.

Select the proper material to cut for W.O.

This includes the correct grade and size.

Put the material in the staging area for cutting. 4.

Cut Sheets:

• Write down the measurement of the start piece before it is cut.


• Cut the mold steel per the work order instructions using saw(s) 5.
