SATCOM Network Engineer

Description

SAIC has an immediate opening for a Networking Engineer with skills in SATCOM or RF. In this role you will support mission-focused operations by applying expertise in RF communications, IP networking, and information security to configure, troubleshoot, and secure satellite and ground-segment systems. The role involves performing vulnerability assessments, maintaining configuration records, developing technical and program management documentation, and ensuring end‐to‐end system readiness while collaborating closely with government and commercial stakeholders. Candidates benefit from knowledge of RF instrumentation, environmental testing, and industry certifications in networking or security.

Qualifications

• Must currently hold a TS/SCI and Poly in order to be considered for this position


• Experience with RF communication


• Basic understanding of network protocols (e.g. TCP/IP, UDP, Ethernet, MPLS)
