Sample Receipt Officer

Role

We’re looking for a dedicated, full‑time Sample Receipt Officer to join a supportive team with a strong focus on client services and teamwork to ensure successful submission of samples for our laboratory.

This is a fixed‑term position covering parental leave. Working schedule is Monday to Friday 08:30‑17:00.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong client relationships whilst ensuring prompt, professional communication and effective resolution to queries.
• Receive samples from clients and couriers; sort and label a variety of food samples with strong accuracy.
• Register samples into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) for lab analysis.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful sample submissions.
• Market ALS services and assist them with method selection and technical guidance.
