Overview

Mortimer Medical Practice is a GP training practice located in rural Kingsland, Herefordshire, serving around 9,000 patients across three sites.

We are looking for a salaried GP (5 to 6 sessions) to join our team. Salary is £10,800 to £12,500 per session, per annum, depending on experience and additional skills or responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary care consultations via face‑to‑face, telephone, and digital platforms.
• Assess, diagnose, treat and manage acute and long‑term conditions, ensuring continuity of care.
• Prescribe safely in line with current clinical guidelines and request/interpret investigations.
• Deliver preventative care, screening, immunisations and health promotion.
• Manage chronic diseases including diabetes, hypertension, asthma and mental health conditions.
• Respond to urgent and emergency presentations as required.
