Job Title: Safety Specialist
Location: Quincy MA
Type: Direct Hire
Compensation: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00
Hours: Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Occasional weekend/evening coverage may be required)


Responsibilities


+ Oversee all safety activities performed at the client site under the direction of the Safety Manager.

+ Promote and maintain a safe work culture by implementing safety programs and being actively present in the manufacturing environment to identify hazards and mitigate risks.

+ Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations alongside company policies.

+ Interface with employees, contractors, and visitors regarding safety matters, compliance, and concerns.

+ Conduct safety training sessions on programs such as lockout/tagout, line break, hazard communication, and confined space.

+ Perform new hire and contractor safety orientations.
