UPMC Western Psychiatric Hospital is hiring a full-time Safety Officer!
The Safety Officer will provide safety, security and fire safety related functions throughout the Institute on a daily basis.
Shift may vary depending on department need.
**Sign on bonus up to $1,500!**
Responsibilities:
+ Conduct searches according to system and department policy regarding customer service responsibilities and maintaining paperwork and property appropriately.
+ Must meet mandatory education and annual competency requirements for the position, to include age-specific competencies.
+ Perform continuous amounts of hands on physical restraint techniques necessary in an attempt to control violent, combative patients and maintain a safe environment with respect to age-specific competencies and guidelines. In conformance with seclusion and restraint policies Comprehensive Crisis Management and positive approaches training.
