Safety Officer

The authority and responsibilities of a Safety and Health Officer (SHO) are governed by the Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994 (OSHA 1994) and its subsidiary regulations. The SHO is responsible for providing competent leadership to ensure statutory compliance and operate as a business partner to operations to drive a strong safety culture across projects at sites.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated SHO to lead the implementation of the Company's Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) Management System across site operations and projects. The SHO is responsible for the statutory compliance, operational partnership, leadership of safety personnel and the management of site safety teams (and its Site Safety Supervisor) and owns the implementation of SHE plans, initiatives, compliances and strategies that drive and cultivate workplace’s culture focused on Safety First.
