Safety Engineer

Job Role:

• Conduct daily walk-throughs and inspections of designated areas
• Identify unsafe practices and environmental risks
• Check for proper placement of safety signage, barriers, and warnings
• Monitor worker compliance with safety rules and regulations
• Conduct spot checks for work permits, lock-out/tag-out, confined space entry, etc.
• Document and report near misses, hazards, and minor incidents
• Maintain logs of hazard identification and reporting forms
• Ensure emergency equipment preparedness

Qualifications:

• A Mining Engineering graduate
• At least 2 year of experience in industrial safety or plant operations
• Preferably with BOSH Certification
