Safety Coordinator

Job Title: Safety CoordinatorJob Description
The Safety Coordinator will focus on creating and enforcing a culture of health and safety for employees, subcontractors, and the general public on project sites. This role requires a strong, safety-oriented individual who will collaborate with the Operations team to ensure a work environment that prioritizes accident prevention and risk mitigation. The Safety Coordinator will also provide training and direction to on-site staff on safety items and plans.
Responsibilities

+ Monitor safety efforts of subcontractors and employees.

+ Discuss safety with on-site Subcontractors Supervisory Personnel.

+ Coordinate with Project Supervision to ensure the use of necessary personal protective equipment and safety materials.

+ Record and forward copies of all safety-related meetings, programs, safety pre-plans, inspections, correspondence, directives, citations, etc., to the Safety Director for tracking.
