Elk Valley Resources is hiring a Safety Coordinator dedicated to loss control in British Columbia. This full-time role will coordinate safety programs while working a 5x2 shift rotation.
Reporting to the Health and Safety Supervisor, this position focuses on administrating site safety protocols and supporting personnel in adhering to essential health standards. A proven ability to organize, adapt, and solve problems is crucial, as is clear communication with diverse groups within the company.
Key Responsibilities:
• Engage with health and safety programs daily
• Apply improvement systems for safety performance
• Support the workforce with safety standards
• Coordinate incident reporting, audits, and inspections
• Facilitate EVR’s SafeCoal implementation
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
