Safety and Loss Control Coordinator at EVR

Elk Valley Resources is seeking a passionate Coordinator for Safety and Loss Control in British Columbia. This role, operating on a 5x2 rotational schedule, focuses on enhancing workplace safety and health programs.
Reporting to the Health and Safety Supervisor, the Coordinator will administer and coordinate safety systems, ensuring compliance with occupational health standards. The successful candidate will exhibit strong organizational skills and an ability to adapt in a dynamic team environment, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Participate in health and safety programs and policies
• Implement continuous improvement processes for safety performance
• Advise and coach staff on safety protocols and standards
• Manage safety systems like incident reporting and inspections
• Support the implementation of EVR’s SafeCoal management system
