Safety and Health Officer

Job Description:

• Develops, implements, and monitors comprehensive Occupational Health, Safety, and Environmental (OHSE) policies across multiple sites.
• To ensure full adherence to local safety laws and regulations (e.g.,OSHA, DOSH, BOMBA), including statutory reporting and liaising with authorities. Keep up-to-date with changes in legislation and industry best practices.
• To implement instructions issued by the employer regarding workplace safety and health, aligning with environmental laws, safety regulations, and ISO standards, and reporting non-compliance.
• To perform regular site audits, hazard identification, and risk assessments (HIRARC) to implement preventative measures.
• To conduct thorough inspections of machinery, equipment, processes, and labor to identify potential hazards and prevent bodily injury.
• To organize, develop, and conduct safety training, inductions, and toolbox talks for employees and contractors.
